All care staff complete moving and handling training with a focus on: safe transfers and repositioning | hoisting with appropriate equipment | stand-aid and walking frame use | falls prevention and risk management | manual handling in accordance with individual risk assessments | working within the guidance of physiotherapists and occupational therapists
